Midsommarfest

Admission to Midsommarfest is a $10 suggested donation. Proceeds from donations and beverage sales go directly back to the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, a 501c6 non-profit organization to support festival expenses, neighborhood events, small business networking events, neighborhood beautification, and special services year round. Portions of donations will also directly support over a dozen local non-profits.

Midsommarfest returns for its 58th year June 7-9 on Clark Street from Foster to Gregory!

Admission to Midsommarfest is a $10 suggested donation. Proceeds from donations and beverage sales go directly back to the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, a 501c6 non-profit organization to support festival expenses, neighborhood events, small business networking events, neighborhood beautification, and special services year round. Portions of donations will also directly support over a dozen local non-profits including Peirce and Chappel Elementary Schools, Chicago Women's Health Center, Brave Space Alliance and more.

Printed Curiosities is curating this year’s first time vendor booth, which supports up and coming LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and female identified artists. Vendors to date include: BriBe LLC, Claudettes Crafts, The Daydreamers Shop, Lathers by Luna, MoonPerl LLC, Painting Ms. Daisy and Sili+Bells.

ACC is partnering with WYNK this year to provide THC infused seltzers and Open Water to provide still water in recyclable aluminum twist-top bottles.

Check in begins at 2PM on Sunday, November 17 at Meeting House Tavern (5025 n Clark). Please check in for the event no later than 5PM. We cannot guarantee check-in after that time. The event runs from 3-6PM.

If you are entering the costume contest, please fill out this form prior to attending. Those entering the costume contest must check in at the costume contest table to have their photo taken. Pre-filling out the form will expedite the process! If you are not traveling with a big group, we may have route leads available to lead groups in waves. An announcement will be made prior to departure. Lastly, remember to bring cash! Some of the establishments are cash only.

Arts Weekend

Join us for the 21st annual Arts Weekend with more than 30 local businesses that will showcase artists from across Chicago.

The event kicks off Friday, October 3, with opening parties & artist receptions. Special events continue all weekend long, including the Fall Wine Walk on Sunday, October 5th. Whether you’re an art lover, a casual explorer, or simply looking to connect with others through creativity, Andersonville Arts Weekend offers an experience for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Todd Mack, beloved artist and founder of Foursided, whose visionary spirit and commitment to uplifting fellow creatives helped shape Andersonville’s artistic identity.

 

Join Chicago for Chicagoans for a free tour of one of Chicago's most historic neighborhoods.
Begin at 5706 N Clark to tour Arts Weekend galleries while discovering Andersonville’s Swedish roots, historic landmarks, small businesses, iconic traditions, mansions, and its reputation as a welcoming LGBTQ+ haven.

The Andersonville Vintage Market is a vibrant outdoor event celebrating all things vintage. Held this year at Clark & Winona, this event features a curated mix of vintage clothing, home goods, vinyl, furniture, and handmade treasures from some of Chicago’s best vintage vendors. With plenty of opportunities to hunt for one-of-a-kind finds, the market is the perfect way to spend a Sunday in Andersonville.
