Andersonville Halloween House & Business Decorating
The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce is excited to have you as one of our home/business decorators for Aville-o-ween! Let's have a little fun this year and make your home the spookiest in town!  Aville-o-ween decorating is open to all storefronts and all types of homes from single-family, to 2 flats, to multi-unit and courtyard buildings. We are even opening this up to parkways/sidewalks! Entrants will have their location added to a google map for residents and community members to follow on a self guided tour of houses. How will you show off your Halloween spirit? Spooky? Scary? Silly? it's all up to you and we can't wait to see your decoration!

Open 7 days a week from 9-4PM from September 23 - October 22. Experience pumpkins, photo fun, and a straw maze! On Saturdays from 10AM-2PM, there will face painting and pumpkin painting for all ages!

Shadow Carriers: Andersonville Ghost Tour  | Boniface Cemetery | 4901 N Clark
Starting October 10! Join veteran paranormal tour guides, Orion Couling & Zack Meyer, on a night that explores the shadows of history with the lantern of mystery. This 1.5-mile walking tour will take you to the door of hidden haunts and the path of legends. Find out the eerie stories about some of Andersonville's most beloved spots!

Orion & Zack are nationally renowned storytellers that have recently brought their unique style of storytelling to the "Shadow Carriers" podcast. Now, you have the opportunity to walk alongside them as you learn more about the dark history of Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.

Bar Roma will welcome Halloween revelers for a festive celebration on Saturday, October 28. A costume contest will take place at 8PM, with dressed guests competing for three top prizes. The person (or duo) with the best costume will win dinner for two ($100 gift card); second place will receive a $50 gift card; and third place will be awarded a bottle of Italian wine. All dining guests that arrive in costume throughout the evening will receive a complimentary dessert.

Start the spooky night right with happy hour! From 4-6PM; Bar Roma offers $8 carafes of wine and select small plates ($6-$11) in the tavern area.
