Drapery & Upholstery Workroom Assistant
Bloom & Co. is seeking a part-time Workroom Sewist to support our drapery and upholstery workroom in Andersonville.
This role will work under the guidance of our Workroom Lead and assist with a variety of custom soft goods projects, including drapery, pillows, cushions, upholstery support, pattern work, fabric preparation, and other workroom tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate has sewing experience, strong attention to detail, an interest in interiors and textiles, and a willingness to learn the specific standards of a custom design workroom. Experience with upholstery, drapery construction, pattern matching, or industrial sewing machines is a plus, but not required for the right person.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on creative work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is comfortable working as part of a small, design-focused team.

Lilla Barn is looking for a part-time Sewist to join their team in Andersonville. This in-studio role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in garment construction who takes pride in producing high-quality work from start to finish. Responsibilities include cutting, sewing, pressing, and finishing garments, working confidently with both knits and wovens, and operating a range of machines, including industrial coverstitch and overlock.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently, and brings a collaborative, adaptable mindset to the studio. Industrial machine experience is a plus, but strong sewing fundamentals are most important. Weekday availability is required.
