Candy Never Goes Out of Style Retrospective: Just like the little black dress, candy remains a timeless treasure that’s always in vogue. They’ll even be giving out some Field Notes brand memo books with the purchase of any craft beer, wine or cocktail while supplies last. Also: ‘Family Sketch Time’ from 6-7pm: we’ll bring our kid… you bring yours!

Featured artist Lisa Carter will be demonstrating the painting of a live, nearly nude model during Night of 100 Parties. Head down to the lower level to view a special exhibit of historic photos from 1965, the year the neighborhood was named “Andersonville.” Posters and greeting cards of many of these special photos will be available for purchase.

Chicago Mindful Psychotherapy
Actors from Erasing the Distance perform two brief vignettes telling gritty, engaging and complex stories of wrestling with depression and substance abuse.  Life is hard, but knowing that we are not alone is incredibly powerful and hopeful!  The performance is free and there will be discussion, refreshments and resources afterward.

Cost: $5 suggested donation, proceeds will towards operational costs for the non-profit theater company, pH Comedy Theater.

Yes, Andersonville! pH is offering a special reprise of their original musical comedy about Andersonville’s fictional history. Come laugh out loud (we did) and learn about the Vikings, Swedish settlers, architects, and lesbians that made Andersonville the special place it is today – 75 minutes (PG-13 rating). Tickets $15.

Andersonville Galleria
Many of the artists at the Andersonville Galleria will be doing demonstrations throughout the weekend. Check with the store for a complete schedule.

Murray & White
Artists and instructors from Misericordia’s Creative Arts Program in the store creating works from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday & Sunday. We’ll also have a Silent Auction: All featured artwork will be on display throughout the weekend and sold by silent auction to the highest bidder. 100% of proceeds from weekend art sales go directly to Misericordia.

Notice
Caricatures by Notice employee and artist, Jeff Lassiter: $10 each on Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Heather Riordan
Accordion music from around the world. Look for Heather playing impromptu concerts around the neighborhood.

Room Service
