For the 12th year, Andersonville is thrilled to celebrate many of the artists and designers who live and work in the neighborhood with Andersonville Arts and Design Weekend. We hope you will take the time to explore the dozens of artists on display in many of your favorite Andersonville businesses. Friday night will kick off with the always-popular Night of 100 pARTies!, an evening of receptions up and down Clark Street, followed by a self-guided art walk on Saturday and Sunday. There are also a variety of performances and other events (many of them free) to enjoy! Explore this website for more information or pick up an Andersonville Arts and Design Weekend brochure in any participating business.
During this year’s event, we also pay tribute to the home stores that have put Andersonville on the map as a home design destination, as well as all of our local businesses that create a vibrant neighborhood year-round! On Friday night, join Alderman Harry Osterman for a toast to celebrate the 10th anniversaries of the White Attic and Scout. Follow a white rabbit through an Andersonville wonderland of local businesses in Upended Productions’ Alice. Celebrate the retirement of one of Andersonville’s pioneering business owners, Jan Baxter of the Landmark of Andersonville. Get FREE admission to the Swedish American Museum all weekend! For a complete list of events and performances, click the Schedule link here or at the top of this page.
We hope you have a wonderful time in the neighborhood!
